Job summary

Ebenezer's Riley Crossing in Chanhassen, MN is seeking a Resident Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and health-related services. The role requires operating with RN guidance, following care plans, and assisting with treatments and daily tasks in a friendly care setting.

Casual / On Call schedule requires picking up three shifts per month, including two weekend shifts. Fulfills duties with dignity and compassion in a senior living community that offers on-site programs

Qualifications

Less than 1 year of experience.
Ability to use technology (computers, handheld devices, cell phones, and fax machines).
If under 18, must be on MN NA registry and site must manage restrictions that they are not able to pass medications or operate a mechanical lift independently.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal cares including bathing, nail care, shaving, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility.
Administer medications or assist under RN direction.
Perform laundry, follow cleaning schedules, deliver meals, and assist with meal service.
Observe residents and report changes in physical or emotional condition to staff.
Respond to emergencies and act as a mandated reporter.
Support resident social and recreational activities as assigned.
