Job summary

Valley Oaks is seeking a Client Care Technician to support residents in residential and housing programs. You will help clients build life skills, work toward independence, and participate in a compassionate, therapeutic environment.

The role requires a High School diploma, CPR certification, and the ability to work Tue-Fri 4:00pm-12:00am and Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm with a 3+ hour evening shift differential. Compensation starts at $17/hour with opportunities for raises and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification (post hire as needed).
• Minimum age of 21 and a current driver's license.
• Preferred qualifications: previous behavioral health or social services experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages clients in activities and interactions to encourage achievement of treatment goals.
• Provides individualized support to help clients address personal challenges.
• Models and teaches independent living skills in one-to-one and group sessions.
• Observes and assesses client behavior and communicates findings to the treatment team.
• Conducts accountability conversations with clients regarding behavior and program expectations.
• Transports clients to off-site appointments or resources as assigned.
