Zusammenfassung

WellCare Homes is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional to supervise DSPs, provide direct care to residents, and ensure adherence to care plans and regulatory requirements in a California residential facility.

The LDSP will mentor staff, assist with IPP/IBSP/IEIP implementation, and coordinate transportation. A valid CA driver’s license, CPR/First Aid, and required certifications are prerequisites for this full-time, on-site role.

Qualifikationen

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• RBT certification or QBMP/LPT eligibility required or obtainable.
• Strong communication, leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Ability to supervise DSP staff and ensure resident care quality.
• Must pass DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance, health and TB screenings, and hold CPR/First Aid.
• Valid California driver’s license and insurability to drive company vehicles.

Aufgaben

• Supervise DSPs during shifts to ensure quality resident care.
• Provide direct care assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist with implementing resident care plans and behavioral support plans.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report concerns to management.
• Support staff training and fidelity checks.
• Transport residents to appointments and activities using company vehicles.
• Maintain documentation and incident reports per regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Title 17/22 and company policies.
