Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a Care Team Manager to lead a residential home supporting individuals with IDD. You will supervise Direct Support Professionals, oversee daily operations, and ensure care plans are followed with safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in IDD, behavioral health, healthcare, human services, or residential services.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, 24/7 residential environment.
• Reliable transportation and driving requirements, if applicable.
• Must meet all company and state requirements for the position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and residential staff.
• Oversee daily operations of the assigned home.
• Ensure care aligned with individual needs and plans.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to team.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and staff retention.
• Ensure required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Monitor compliance with policies, state regulations, and care standards.
• Support medication administration and health/safety procedures as needed.
• Address behavioral or operational concerns and escalate when necessary.
• Build relationships with individuals supported, families, staff, and community partners.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming home environment.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Serve as hands-on leader who steps in to support the team when needed.
