Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a Resident Care Supervisor (RCS) to oversee nursing and resident care within a designated unit, reporting to the DON. The role includes decision-making in resident care, HR, and financial management to maintain high-quality service and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include program development, CQI oversight, staff development, and ensuring staffing adequacy across shifts.

Qualifications

• Current NYS RN license is required.
• BSN preferred.
• All RN hires without BSN must enroll in a BSN program within 4 years and complete it within 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing and resident care programs.
• Monitor unit compliance with regulatory, accrediting and hospital policies.
• Identify problems and implement solutions with follow-through and communication.
• Oversee unit CQI programs and ensure quality care.
• Provide resident education and supervise staff development.
• Manage department operations and fiscal resources.
