Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a Registered Nurse - PD to supervise clinical staff across shifts, coordinate Nursing Services, and ensure high-quality resident care. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing, supervise on 3-11 and 11-7 shifts, and participate in care planning and staff development.

Qualified candidates hold a NYS RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year as RN with nursing supervisory experience preferred; BSN progress may be required per NY law.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and currently licensed by NYS.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year as staff RN; 2 years nursing supervisor preferred.
• Licensure/Certifications: NYS RN license; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to clinical staff during shifts; coordinate staffing on 3-11 and 11-7 shifts.
• Assess resident needs, nursing diagnoses, and plan care with nurses and physicians.
• Maintain standards of care and ensure continuity of nursing across units.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and In-Service Director on geriatric programs.
• Prepare evaluations and guidance for staff; participate in policy development.
