Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network in New York State is seeking a Registered Nurse – PD to supervise clinical staff across shifts and assist the Director of Nursing in directing Nursing Services. The role focuses on maintaining quality resident care and coordinating nursing teams on 3-11, 11-7 shifts, with direct responsibility for staffing and care planning.

Ideal candidates have a NYS RN license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year as staff RN with 2 years supervising experience preferred; BSN

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and currently licensed in New York
• Current NYS RN license and BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year experience as staff RN; 2 years as nursing supervisor preferred
• Ability to supervise across shifts and coordinate Nursing Services with Director of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical staff during assigned shift
• Assist Director of Nursing in directing Nursing Services
• Staffing coordination for 3-11 and 11-7 shifts
• Assess resident needs and nursing diagnoses with care plans
• Maintain standards of care and communicate with physicians
• Participate in nursing care committees and staff evaluations
