Bassett Healthcare Network seeks an RN Team Leader ambulatory care to provide unit-level leadership and coordinate daily clinical workflows. You will ensure quality patient care and support staff performance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2 year / Associate Degree in Nursing, required.
• Vocational / Technical Diploma in Nursing, required.
• 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, required.
• 1 year of nursing in an ambulatory care setting, preferred.
• Leadership experience, preferred.
• NYS licensure as Registered Nurse, required.
• BLS certification within 6 months from hire date.
• ACLS certification within 6 months from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide unit-level leadership and oversight to nursing staff.
• Coordinate daily clinical workflows and patient care activities.
• Assist in orientation, training and documentation of new staff.
• Ensure staff meets continuing education requirements.
• Assist in performance improvement and risk management activities.
• Attend staff and provider meetings and present items as needed.
• Assign duties, set schedules and arrange coverage with supervisors.
• Monitor staffing, PTO, and overtime in collaboration with leadership.
• Support UKG management and timekeeping processes.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy compliance.
• Oversee credentialing and required documentation for staff.
