Job summary

Ridgeway Post Acute ALF in Anchorage seeks a dedicated caregiver to provide routine daily care and services to residents in accordance with their care plans. You will greet residents, escort them to rooms, and introduce them to roommates and staff, while maintaining a warm, supportive environment.

You will follow established care procedures, document care activities, and report any changes in residents' conditions promptly.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow care plans and directions from supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily care and services to residents according to their care plans and supervisor directions.
• Use PCC to ensure correct resident information when assisting with ALDS, meals, etc.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Health and Wellness Director promptly.
• Record entries on notes, SPAs, and incident reports in a clear, descriptive manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report any disclosures.
• Greet residents and escort them to their rooms, and introduce them to roommates and staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility as trained.
• Keep residents' rooms clean, organized, and safe; check regularly for comfort and safety.
