Job summary

The State of Arkansas Department of Human Services seeks a Residential Care Coordinator for the Arkansas State Hospital in Little Rock. This is an Extra Help (temporary) position focused on coordinating individualized care for residents in a 24/7 behavioral health facility.

You will collaborate with staff, healthcare providers and families to ensure high-quality care, maintain confidential records, and support safe, structured living environments while complying with state laws and Medicaid

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in social services, behavioral health, healthcare, psychology or a related field.
• Ability to coordinate care plans and track service progress.
• Strong written and verbal communication with residents, families and teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination of care services within a state-operated residential care facility.
• Implement, monitor and adjust individualized care plans for residents.
• Ensure residents attend medical appointments, therapy sessions and support services.
• Advocate for residents and address concerns in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of care plans, progress notes and incidents.
• Ensure compliance with Arkansas state laws, Medicaid requirements, and facility policies.
