Job summary

Pathlight Community Services in Michigan seeks a Medications Coordinator to lead medication administration, ensure resident safety, and supervise care staff across shifts. The role will act as manager in the Home Manager’s absence and ensure continuity of care and program integrity.

You will coordinate care programs, maintain safety protocols, document medication administration, and participate in staff training and supervision to promote quality outcomes for residents.

Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Experience in supervising direct care staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions related to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program and resident support, ensuring safety procedures are followed.
• Coordinate medication administration and documentation; monitor changes and updates.
• Supervise, train, and mentor Direct Care Staff; provide coaching and performance evaluations.
• Oversee facility safety, security, vehicle use, and daily transitions across shifts.
• Handle administrative tasks: meetings, accurate incident and resident data documentation, and compliance with policies.
