Job summary

Pathlight Community Services seeks a Medications Coordinator to lead care programs, oversee medication administration, and supervise staff. You will act as manager during shifts when Home Manager is absent, ensuring continuity of care and program integrity.

Responsibilities include program support, medication coordination, staff training, and facility oversight across all shifts, with attention to safety, compliance, and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions related to resident care.
• Physically and emotionally capable of meeting residents' needs.
• Ability to respond calmly in emergency situations.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Personal care and supervision experience preferred.
• Safety and fire prevention knowledge.
• Infection control and disease prevention awareness.
• Resident rights and confidentiality adherence.
• Incident reporting and documentation proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead program and resident support activities and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Oversee medication administration and documentation.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate Direct Care Staff performance.
• Oversee safety, security, and vehicle use during shifts.
• Attend meetings, maintain accurate incident and resident data, and report changes as needed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and participate in budget adherence.
