Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living is seeking a highly energetic Resident Care Aide/Medication Assistant to support memory-impaired residents and maintain their dignity. You will assist with daily tasks and help residents stay independent, under supervision in a senior living setting.

We offer full-time hours from 7am to 3pm, competitive $16.00–$18.00 per hour with shift differentials for evenings, nights and weekends, plus a robust benefits package including PTO, holidays, health insurance, retirement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred or as required by law.
• One year caregiving experience preferred.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required.

Responsibilities

• Assist memory-impaired residents with bathing, grooming, and dressing while promoting dignity and independence.
• Ensure compliance and understanding of residents’ rights regulations.
• Maintain and document proper records of care.
• Report changes in residents’ condition to the supervisor (illness signs, behavior changes, unmet needs, medication issues, missing residents).
• Encourage residents to participate in community activities.
