Job summary

Pilot Butte Rehab Center in Bend, Oregon, is seeking a Nurse Manager/Resident Care Manager licensed as an RN or LPN in Oregon to lead our nursing department under the Director of Nursing. This fast-paced, team-driven setting encourages hands-on leadership to ensure high-quality resident care.

You will spearhead care plan development, oversee treatments per plans and resident wishes, manage MDS processes, train staff, and coordinate with surveys.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LPN in Oregon.
• Typically 1 year of supervisor experience in healthcare.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead care plan development for each resident.
• Ensure nursing treatments align with care plans and resident wishes.
• Plan, schedule, and revise MDS processes and RAPs/Triggers.
• Certify nursing personnel are performing their work assignments.
• Maintain informative nurse notes reflecting resident responses and wishes.
• Delegate, train, evaluate and support care staff.
• Coordinate with surveys by government agencies.
• Provide training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Stay updated on CMS directives and nursing care guidelines.
• Attend continuing education and lead in-service training.
