The Brien Center for Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Inc. in North Adams, MA seeks dedicated direct care staff for full- and part-time roles with on-call shift differential.

The position focuses on resident safety and support, life skills coaching, and creating daily activity schedules. Responsibilities include intake coordination, daily activity monitoring, medication policy adherence, record management, and active participation in team meetings.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2- or 4-year degree in related field preferred.
• Relevant knowledge and/or experience in substance use disorders and mental health diagnoses preferred.
• CPR certification or certification within first 3 months of employment.
• Able to pass a Criminal Offender Records Information Check and RMV check.

Mansioni

• Assist Site Supervisor in the coordination of intake interviews.
• Monitor daily activities of program and report all concerns to Site Supervisor.
• Follow and monitor the medication policy for resident medication regimens.
• Assist Case Management Staff in record management and filing systems.
• Attend staff meetings and meet with supervisor weekly.
• Oversee drug screening and record keeping.
• Assist and participate in group facilitation and educational training.
• Report and document any incidents, accidents, injuries or medication errors to your supervisor according to agency policy.
• Participate in all relevant staff meetings, treatment team meetings, scheduled supervision and interagency meetings.
• Conduct daily room inspections and maintain a daily chore schedule for residents.
• Conduct routine bed checks
• Report any and all safety concerns to Site Supervisor
• Assist residents with both internal and external transportation services
• Have direct involvement in menu planning and food preparation
• Other duties as assigned by Site Supervisor
