Job summary

Bonaventure Senior Living is seeking an Engaged Assisted Living Coordinator/Resident Care Coordinator to oversee the community's assisted living program, align resident needs with state regulations and company policies, and ensure high-quality care.

You will hire, train, supervise, and schedule care staff, coordinate services via service plans, and conduct staff training and audits. The role emphasizes leadership, communication with residents and families, and compliance.

Qualifications

• State certifications and licenses obtained or eligible.
• Experience supervising staff and providing training.
• Knowledge of state regulations and company policies.
• Must comply with state vaccine requirements.
• English language required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise, and schedule care staff.
• Coordinate and monitor all services relating to resident care needs through service plans.
• Update care and services to residents and review service plans and charges with residents and families.
• Provide hands-on training and support to medication aide and caregiving staff.
• Alert the Registered Nurse Consultant when a resident's condition changes.
• Conduct timely audits of the medication administration program for accuracy and completeness.
• Address resident and family concerns promptly.
• Model leadership and professionalism to staff and residents.
