Job summary

Bonaventure Senior Living in Salem, Oregon seeks an Assisted Living Coordinator/Resident Care Coordinator to oversee the community’s care program and align resident needs with policies and state regulations. The role involves guiding families through the assisted living process and teaching staff to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities include hiring and training staff, managing service plans, updating care plans, and coordinating medication administration with RN support.

Qualifications

• Have or obtain state certifications and licenses.
• Demonstrated experience supervising team members and providing training and support.
• Understand and follow State regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise and schedule care staff.
• Coordinate and monitor services relating to resident care through service plans.
• Update care plans and charges through logs; meet with residents and families.
• Provide hands-on training and support to medication aides and caregiving staff.
• Alert the RN Consultant when a resident’s condition changes.
• Conduct audits of the medication administration program for accuracy.
