Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Director (RN) to serve as the clinical leader of the community, overseeing health, wellness and care coordination to ensure safe, high-quality, resident-centered services.

The role entails leading the nursing team, conducting resident assessments, overseeing ISP, monitoring changes in condition, coordinating with physicians, and managing medication and infection control programs.

• Monitor changes in condition and coordinate with physicians and clinical partners
• Oversee medication management and infection control programs
• Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable
• Drive Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial and nursing regulations
• Recruit, hire, train and performance manage clinical team members
• Manage staffing, scheduling and department budget
