Commonwealth Senior Living at North Byron is seeking a Resident Care Director (RCD) to lead the resident care team and oversee service delivery for our elderly residents. The RCD will drive care planning, staff development, and regulatory compliance while managing budget considerations and occupancy goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of college in human services or health care field.
• Unencumbered state nursing license preferred (RN or LPN).
• Minimum two years’ experience in resident care for elderly populations.
• Minimum one year in nursing management (hiring, coaching, scheduling).

Responsibilities

• Lead resident care team and coordinate service delivery to residents.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and licensing requirements.
• Oversee care planning, assessments, and documentation for residents.
• Manage staffing, performance, and training of direct care staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other providers for integrated care.
• Maintain resident safety and quality of care metrics.
