Job summary

Viva Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Director to lead the resident care team with compassion and integrity. The role requires valid RMA or LPN/RN licensure, at least one year of clinical experience, and strong budgeting abilities to manage department expenses.

The incumbent will ensure compliance with applicable health standards, uphold the Resident Bill of Rights, and collaborate with staff to deliver high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid RMA certification or LPN/RN license, in good standing with state laws.
• Minimum of one year of full-time or equivalent clinical experience.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must adhere to attendance policies and be able to respond in emergencies.
• Must maintain compassion and dignity for residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Resident Care Department budget.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health and regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Maintain adherence to the Resident Bill of Rights.
• Collaborate with peers to provide high quality resident care.
• Respond to exigent circumstances such as severe weather or staffing shortages.
