Sunrise Senior Living in Richmond, VA seeks an experienced Resident Care Director (RN) to lead clinical excellence across the community. You will oversee health, wellness and care coordination, ensuring safe, resident-centered services while driving regulatory compliance and high performance across the nursing team.

The role emphasizes lead responsibility for ISP assessments, medication management, infection control and QAPI initiatives, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia.
• Leadership experience in a clinical or senior living setting.
• Knowledge of CMS regulations and healthcare standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nursing team and all care programs.
• Conduct resident assessments and oversee ISP planning.
• Monitor condition changes and coordinate with physicians.
• Oversee medication management and infection control programs.
• Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable.
• Drive QAPI initiatives and quality improvement.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state nursing regulations.
• Recruit, hire, train and manage clinical staff.
• Manage staffing, scheduling and department budget.
• Partner with Sales to assess move-in appropriateness.

The Resident Care Director (RCD) serves as the clinical leader for the community, overseeing health, wellness and care coordination to ensure safe, high-quality, resident-centered services. • Manage staffing, scheduling and department budget
