Midwest Health Inc. is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) to lead our nursing team at our Manhattan, KS location.

The role requires a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and includes duties to review policies, monitor regulatory compliance, assist with resident admissions, and provide compassionate care to support residents’ well-being.

Responsibilities

• Review and supervise policy compliance relating to total patient care, including meals, activities, housekeeping, and laundry under directives from the Executive Director.
• Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, hazardous materials, resident rights, and other applicable areas.
• Assist residents with admission and ensure compliance with State and Federal requirements (Advance Directives, Resident Rights, assessments).
• Provide care and compassion to foster residents' physical and emotional well-being.

As an RCC, you will work under the general supervision of the Executive Director to:

• Review and supervise compliance with policies pertaining to total patient care, including but not limited to meal service, activities, housekeeping and laundry, personnel and public relations under specific directives from the Executive Director. Explain policies to staff and other concerned parties.
• Monitor personal and staff compliance with all state and federal regulations including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, hazardous materials, resident rights and other applicable areas.
• Assist residents with admission and assure compliance with all State and Federal requirements regarding admission, to include but not limit to initial Advance Directives, Resident Rights information, and assessments as required.
• Provide care and compassion to foster the resident’s physical and emotional well-being
