Job summary

Cascade Living Group is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to support Wellness Standards, care plans, and cross-department communication at Mt. Bachelor Assisted Living and Memory Care.

You will supervise care associates and assist the Wellness Director while strengthening resident relationships. The role requires a health-related degree or licensed professional, state-approved training, CPR/First Aid, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Preferred associates degree in a health-related field or licensed health care professional such as an LPN, CNA.
• Has completed a medication training course and ongoing state-required training.
• Experience of 2+ years in care of senior adults.
• Supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Must have current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Maintain state requirements of resident care training.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the public.

Responsibilities

• Establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff.
• Coordinate and oversee ordering of resident-specific supplies.
• Submit department payables such as expense reports promptly.
• Contribute information for customized service plans.
• Participate in resident and family care conferences as needed.
• Assist residents with medications as ordered.
• Ensure resident care is safe and respectful.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations related to resident care.
• Contribute to residents' quality of life through meaningful interactions.
• Communicate policies and guidance to other departments and assist in implementation.
