Job summary

Cascade Living Group is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator for Mountain Glen to support wellness standards and care plan implementation. You will train across departments, supervise care associates, and collaborate with families to ensure safe, dignified resident care.

Role includes coordinating supplies, submitting payables, and participating in care conferences. CPR/First Aid, CNA/HCA, and state certifications are required; weekend availability and full-time hours apply.

Qualifications

• Preferred associate degree in a health-related field or licensed health care professional such as social worker, LPN, RN, CNA etc.
• Has completed a medication training course and maintains ongoing training meeting state requirements.
• Experience of 2+ years in care of senior adults and adults.
• Supervisory/management experience in healthcare preferred.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Strong documentation skills.
• State-required certifications for activities.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification per state requirements.
• Maintain applicable state requirements of resident care training.
• Represent community positively and professionally.
• Ability to build relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Excellent written and oral communication with residents, families, staff, vendors and public

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with residents, family members and staff
• Be involved in recruitment for Wellness Department positions
• Coordinate and oversee ordering of resident-specific supplies
• Submit department payables timely and accurately
• Contribute information for customized service plans
• Participate in resident and family care conferences as needed
• Assist residents with medications per physician orders
• Ensure safe and dignified resident care, with privacy and respect
• Stay informed on federal/state regulations governing resident care
• Enhance residents’ quality of life through meaningful interactions
• Communicate policies to other departments and assist in implementation
• Coach supervised associates on communication of needs
• Demonstrate time-management organizational skills
