Position Summary

The Resident Care Coordinator / House Manager is responsible for supporting the overall well-being of residents through care coordination, staff leadership, scheduling, family communication, and operational oversight. This position works closely with community leadership to ensure residents receive exceptional service and individualized care in a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment.

The successful candidate will serve as a resource for caregivers, assist with resident care planning, coordinate staffing needs, manage schedules, and help oversee daily community operations to promote resident satisfaction, employee engagement, and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor resident care services to ensure resident needs are met
  • Assist with resident assessments, service plans, and care updates
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and compliance with staffing requirements
  • Monitor staffing levels and proactively address scheduling gaps, call-ins, and coverage needs
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, and retaining caregiving staff
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and daily support to caregivers and medication aides
  • Conduct regular audits of schedules, attendance, and staffing patterns to support operational effectiveness
  • Assist with payroll review, timecard accuracy, and attendance tracking
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
  • Address resident and family concerns in a timely, professional, and compassionate manner
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, pharmacies, hospice agencies, and other community partners
  • Assist with resident admissions, move‑ins, assessments, and transitions
  • Monitor documentation and reporting for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and community procedures
  • Participate in quality assurance, employee engagement, and resident satisfaction initiatives
  • Assist leadership in maintaining a positive, resident-centered culture
  • Support community operations and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in assisted living, RCAC, CBRF, healthcare, senior living, or a related field preferred
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, scheduling, or staffing experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Knowledge of resident care practices and Wisconsin assisted living regulations preferred
  • Experience with resident assessments, care planning, staffing coordination, or healthcare operations is a plus
  • Proficiency with scheduling systems, basic computer programs, and timekeeping systems preferred
