Qualifications

• Must hold an active CNA license and have high school completion.
• Experience with MDS processes is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and code ADL flow sheets; ensure accuracy of MDS coding.
• Educate CNAs on ADL coding and MDS-related tasks.
• Enter demographics into MDS software and complete forms.
• Schedule care plan meetings and coordinate with families.
• Handle MDS transmissions to state databases and QIO as required.
• Assist with Medicare certifications, denials, and appeals processes.
