Resident Care Coordinator (Finance)

Provides direct supervision of caregiving within the community. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity, recognizing individual needs and encouraging independence. Fosters a homelike atmosphere throughout the community.

Responsibilities include:

1. Supervising resident care staff, monitoring job performance, collaborating on performance evaluations, coaching, counseling, and documenting corrective actions as needed.
2. Coordinating ongoing training and education for resident care staff.
3. Verifying associate hours, completing nursing schedules to ensure proper coverage, and maintaining records of staffing changes.
4. Monitoring residents' health status, addressing concerns within scope of practice, and reporting significant changes or incidents to the Health and Wellness Director.
5. Assisting in medication management, including ordering, storing, and administering medications within scope of practice, and auditing medication administration records.
6. Communicating with families regarding residents' needs and appointments.
7. Ensuring scheduling and follow-up of ancillary medical services.
8. Participating in service plan reviews, maintaining resident charts, and contributing to quality improvement activities.
9. Performing safety and infection control checks, participating in community functions, and sharing on-call duties as required.
