Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Plainview, NY is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to lead compassionate care across Assisted Living neighborhoods. You will oversee daily operations, develop service plans, and coordinate with clinical partners to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care.

You'll manage staffing, lead move-in meetings, monitor resident conditions, and partner with Dining and Activities to enrich the resident experience.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management experience in healthcare or senior living.
• Experience developing service plans and conducting resident evaluations.
• Knowledge of regulations and quality programs (QAPI) and OSHA requirements.
• Budgeting and expense management for a department.
• Recruiting, training and coaching care staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of assigned neighborhood in compliance with regulations and Sunrise standards.
• Participate in resident evaluations and develop Service Plans.
• Create staffing schedules and daily care assignments based on resident needs.
• Lead move-in meetings and coordinate care with the Resident Care Director when clinical support is needed.
• Monitor changes in resident condition and communicate with families and providers.
• Partner with Dining and Activities teams to enhance the resident experience.
• Maintain compliance with QAPI, OSHA and regulatory requirements.
• Manage department budget, labor and expenses.
• Recruit, hire, train and coach care team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and promote team engagement.

Pay Range: 70,720.00 - 91,676.00

In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses. The eligibility to receive such a bonus will depend on the employee's position, plan/program offered by Sunrise at the time, and required performance pursuant to the plan/program.
