Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work beyond normal hours and on weekends/holidays when necessary.
• Must relate to and work with ill, elderly residents and mindful of safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes.
• Ensure meals are palatable and served with proper portion control.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in the kitchen and adhere to infection control policies.
• Assist in inventorying and stocking food and supplies.
• Report hazards, accidents, and regulatory compliance as required.
