Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare meals in a regulated dietary program, ensuring adherence to menus and dietary orders. The role supports sanitation and safety protocols while maintaining appliance and inventory readiness in a health care setting.

Responsibilities include reviewing menus, preparing meals, and assisting with diet changes, while complying with safety and infection control standards and supporting team members on shift.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours and on weekends/holidays when necessary.
• Must be able to assist in evacuation of residents during emergencies.

Responsabilités

• Prepare food in accordance with dietary policies and recipes.
• Review menus prior to preparation and ensure correct diets are served.
• Inspect diet trays and ensure meals meet planned menus and dietary orders.
• Follow infection control and sanitation policies and maintain a clean, safe kitchen.
• Assist with inventory, food storage, and equipment needs as directed by Food Services.
