Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Moon Township, PA is hiring a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide quality daily living support to residents in our community. The role requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to work with a caring team across shifts.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, reporting concerns, supporting activities, and maintaining confidentiality while delivering respectful, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must complete approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to work with all levels of staff.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist residents.

Responsibilities

• Report incidents involving residents to appropriate individuals.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Assist in planning activity programs for residents.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist residents to and from dining and activities.
• Report resident status and upcoming information to staff.
• Provide emotional support to new move-ins.
• Attend in-services and staff meetings.
• Work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
