Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide to provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents. The role includes documenting incidents, aiding residents, and performing light housekeeping as directed by a supervisor.

You will also respond to calls and emergencies, assist with activity programs, and support move-in transitions while upholding confidentiality and teamwork with the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations as applicable.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must follow instructions of supervisor and uphold confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and concerns to appropriate individuals (e.g., supervisor, RN/LPN, ED).
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting resident activity programs.
• Assist residents to and from dining and activities; monitor attendance.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
