Job summary
JGS – Ruth's House in Longmeadow, MA seeks a dedicated Resident Care Assistant to support residents with daily living activities under the supervision of licensed staff.

Qualifications
- Must hold MA Home Health Aide (HHA) or CNA certification in good standing.
- Strong communication in English – verbal and written.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding, promoting dignity and independence.
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
- Provide basic patient care under supervision of licensed nurses, including repositioning, transferring, and mobility assistance to prevent falls and pressure injuries.
- Support residents' quality of life by fostering a positive, respectful environment and encouraging engagement in meaningful daily activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment following infection control protocols and responding to call lights.
