Job summary

HACIENDAOAKS is seeking a compassionate Nursing Aide to support the Nursing Department and staff. The role involves assisting with resident care, maintaining clean rooms, answering calls, and reporting changes in condition to the Nurse Supervisor.

The position emphasizes adherence to safety policies, proper body fluid precautions, and collaboration with the care team to ensure residents receive timely assistance and respectful service.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at minimum, an 8th grade education.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials including periodicals and procedures.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information clearly and respond to questions from managers and staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse about changes in resident condition.
• Answer phone and assist with resident needs during shifts.
• Maintain orderly resident rooms and common areas and assist with daily tasks.
• Follow policies regarding exposure to blood/body fluids and safety standards.
• Transport residents to meals, activities, and other areas as needed.
