Job summary

Aspire Rural Health System is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Aide to join The Heartlands community in Marlette, MI. This casual night-shift role supports residents with daily living activities and monitors health status.

You will assist with meals, maintain records, and help create a safe, comfortable environment while respecting residents' privacy. A valid CPR and First Aid certification is required, and prior experience with older adults is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience with older adults and dementia care preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident care, monitoring, and reporting changes to the resident care manager.
• Assists residents with meals, snacks, and beverages and helps those who need assistance eating.
• Maintains resident records through regular documentation and supports activity participation.
• Maintains a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for residents and families.
