Qualifications

• Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident care, monitoring, and assessing residents and reports changes to Resident Care Manager.
• Assists residents with meals, snacks, and beverages and helps those needing assistance with eating.
• Maintains resident records through regular documentation and supports in activities and daily living.
• Administers and documents medications per the 6 rights of medication administration and AFC regulations; monitors for side effects and maintains medication cart.
• Monitors vital signs as needed and reports changes promptly.
• Maintains a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for residents and families.
• Assists in training new employees and ensures staff uphold company standards.
• Complies with each resident's care plans and physician orders.
