Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide daily living support to residents in Moon Township, PA. You will assist with daily activities, safety, and engagement, reporting incidents and following facility policies.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, completion of an approved PCA program, and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days). Flexible schedule incl.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved Personal Care Aide program per state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification completed or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with resident transfers.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents involving residents to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding resident information.
• Assist residents to dining and activities and ensure attendance.
• Communicate resident status and appointments in writing.
• Support move-in transition for new residents.
