Central Florida Communities, Inc. in Winter Park, FL is seeking a Resident Care Aide (RCA) to support Direct Support Professional staff in providing around-the-clock care for residents with developmental disabilities.

The role includes bathing, grooming, feeding, and assisting with daily living activities within Howell Branch Court. The position emphasizes maintaining clean, safe environments, proper storage of equipment, and accurate documentation of training and observations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Direct Support Professional staff to meet all direct care needs of the residents. These include bathing, toileting, dressing, undressing, oral hygiene, grooming, lifting and feeding.
• Assure that work/assignment areas are clean and that equipment tools and supplies are properly stored, keep floors clean, dry and free of unnecessary equipment to prevent accidents.
• Follow daily shift assignment schedule for cleaning and housekeeping duties, conduct daily rounds of all bedrooms and deliver clean linen and housekeeping supplies daily to each building.
• Maintain residents’ closets/drawers in organized manner. Maintain personal supplies box and ensure all items are properly labeled.
