Job summary

Twin Oaks Health & Rehab is seeking a Domestic Aide to provide essential domestic services to nursing home residents who do not require direct patient care.

You will respond to call lights, assist with dining, beds, and linens, and help orient new residents while adhering to safety and infection control policies. A CNA certification is required within six months of starting, and basic computer skills are needed to document activities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff.
• Willing to complete CNA certification within six months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Answer call lights promptly and notify appropriate staff.
• Pass trays and assist residents in dining room and rooms.
• Assist with bed linens, turning, and making beds as directed.
• Report observations to supervisor and document nourishment intake as directed.
• Orient new residents to the facility and assist with daily living tasks.
• Maintain clean rooms and label personal items as needed.
• Assist in safety procedures and infection control measures.
• Support resident rights and comply with regulations.
