Job summary

Oakwood Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine nursing care under the supervision of nursing staff. You will perform resident rounds, assist with meals, and maintain patient safety and comfort in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in CNA program or holds CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical experience in training.
• Genuine desire to serve ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care per facility policies and procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident ID before care or meals; report missing IDs.
• Make beds and keep bedside tables clean and stocked.
• Assist with meals and feeding; ensure water is available.
• Attend in-service programs and other duties as directed by supervisors.
