Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a Hospitality Aide to provide non-nursing, ancillary support under a licensed nurse supervisor. The role is ideal for students enrolled in State Approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program.

You will assist nursing staff with bed making, feeding trays, and resident care, while helping with mail, bulletin boards, and reader support for visually impaired residents. Training and equal employment opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Student enrollment in a State Approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program is expected.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff on the floor with tasks such as bed making and passing meals.
• Delivers mail and newspapers to residents and assists visually impaired residents with reading mail.
• Cleans and organizes equipment, makes beds, and supports safety protocols.
• Provides 1:1 resident care under licensed nurse supervision.
• Ensures rooms are ready for new admissions and manages personal possessions.
• Assists with transferring residents between rooms or to appointments as needed.
