Job summary

Oroville Hospital is seeking a Hospitality Aide to support patient services and assist with daily resident care activities. The role provides training toward becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) while not performing direct patient care.

Responsibilities include responding to call lights, delivering meals, transporting residents, handling linens, and maintaining clean, safe environments. Evening and weekend shifts are common, with growth potential within the center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights, bells, or intercom to determine resident needs.
• Distribute linens, make beds.
• Serve and collect food trays, perform tray monitor.
• Transport residents using wheelchair or wheeled cart.
• Pass fluids and nourishment to residents who do not require assistance.
• Clean utility rooms, storage areas, and resident rooms/closets/drawers.
• Stock supplies and manage soiled linen and incontinence barrels.
• May be assigned to a specific area of the Center.
• May assist with cleaning, disinfecting, and storing bedpans and related supplies under licensed nurse supervision.
• Change bed linens, run errands, direct visitors, and answer phones, including weekends/evenings.
