Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a Nurse Aide to provide basic nursing care to residents under supervision. You will perform basic procedures, assist with bathing, grooming, hygiene, and bedding, and communicate procedures clearly before administration.

Requirements include completion of State Approved Nurse Aide Training and CE Program and being listed on the State Registry in good standing; prior experience is preferred but not required. This is a direct support role in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Must be listed on State Registry as Nurse Aide in good standing.
• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Ability to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Participates in and receives nursing report upon reporting for duty.
• Assists residents with care including bathing, grooming and hygiene.
• Explains procedures to residents before administering.
• Keeps residents dry and changes gown or linens as needed.
• Changes bed linens and keeps linens tight to avoid wrinkles.
• Makes beds, both occupied and unoccupied.
