Job summary

UVM Health Network - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh, NY seeks a Certified Nurse Aide to provide direct resident care, including hygiene and daily living activities, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will perform tasks allowed for unlicensed personnel under NYS regulations and hospital policies.

Additional duties include supporting the unit/department as assigned by the RN or manager and ensuring resident safety and comfort throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• NYS Long Term Care training and Nurse Aide certification required.
• Previous Nursing Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents including hygiene and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Assist with basic tasks as delegated by Nursing Services and unit/department managers.
• Support nursing staff by performing assigned duties and maintaining resident safety and comfort.
