Peregrine Senior Living in Orchard Park, NY is seeking an energetic and dedicated Resident Care Aide to join our team. The role involves assisting residents with daily tasks, promoting independence, and ensuring dignity in care within a memory-centered program.

The position emphasizes compliance with residents' rights, accurate record-keeping, and active participation in community activities. Applicants should have a high school diploma and preferably CNA/HHA/PCA certification, plus caregiving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification preferred, or as required by law.
• One year of experience in caregiving preferred.
• Compassion for and a genuine desire to work with older adults required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with memory impairment in daily tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing) while maintaining dignity and promoting independence.
• Ensure compliance with regulations regarding residents' rights.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of resident care.
• Immediately report changes in a resident's condition to the supervisor (illness signs, behavioral changes, unmet personal care needs, medication concerns, or unknown whereabouts).
• Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities.

7:00-3:00pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm or 11:00pm-7:00am

Salary

$16.00–$17.50 per hour, based on experience

Shift differential available for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
