Job summary

You will be the friendly first point of contact for billing questions, perform proactive outreach on past-due balances, and handle LTC insurance documentation to ensure timely reimbursements and accurate posting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in collections and billing.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial conversations professionally.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Proficiency with billing/AR software and Excel.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Billing support: assist residents/families with questions and payment options.
• Courtesy outreach on late and past-due payments.
• Manage aged and delinquent accounts; set up payment plans and coordinate with collections or legal as needed.
• Prepare, submit, and track long-term care insurance claims and documentation.
• Apply payments/adjustments and reconcile accounts; maintain records of collection activity.
• Monitor AR aging and report status updates to management.
• Coordinate with billing, directors, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies.
