Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years related billing experience.
• Proficient in Excel and data entry.
• Ability to analyze and resolve billing issues.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Post cash receipts accurately in the current billing system.
• Review aging and adjust payer accounts; follow up on past-due balances.
• Assist in payroll processing bi-weekly and run payroll reports.
• Verify insurance payers and obtain authorizations as required; bill coinsurance.
• Open mail and perform data-entry including updating resident demographics.
• Assist residents with billing questions and maintain census data.
• Maintain accurate census in the billing system.
