Job summary

Glen Park Senior Living seeks a Resident Benefits Compliance Specialist to protect residents’ government benefits and ensure revenue integrity. The role manages SSA, SSI/SSP, and Medi-Cal lifecycles, and conducts on-site audits across RCFE communities to ensure regulatory compliance.

Collaboration with QA and Accounting is key to timely resolutions. Responsibilities include on-site file audits, documenting findings, and coordinating benefit recovery with leadership.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of experience with Social Security, SSI/SSP, and Medi-Cal benefits.
• Strong file-audit, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Background clearance through FBI and DOJ.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Valid California driver’s license and willingness to travel between communities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in establishing SSA, SSI/SSP, and Medi-Cal benefits.
• Notify SSA when a resident moves to a licensed facility and adjust aid code accordingly.
• Verify Medi-Cal Share of Cost status and address any SOC issues.
• Confirm Medi-Cal eligibility is active and track redetermination dates.
• Maintain a resident-by-resident benefits log.
• Conduct on-site audits of employee and resident files for Title 22/Title 17 compliance.
• Flag deficiencies with corrective action and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with QA and Accounting to resolve benefit delays and protect revenue.
