Job summary

Juniper Communities in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking compassionate Care Aides to join our team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and help residents stay engaged and independent during the 3 pm–11 pm shift.

Full-time and part-time positions are available, with a shift differential for evenings. Requirements include high school or equivalent (Required); caregiving experience (1 year preferred); CNA certification when available.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent is required.
• Caregiving experience (1 year) preferred.
• CNA certification is preferred when available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, dining and transportation.
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and team members.

Role: Care aides are a key part of the Juniper team. They provide physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent.

Responsibilities

Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, use of the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.

Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.

Effectively communicate with other members of the team, residents, and families.

Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

Education: High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience: Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
