Job summary

The Village of St Edward in Ohio seeks a Resident Assistant / STNA Caregiver to provide personal care and daily support to residents. Working hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. full-time 36 hours per week with alternating weekends and holidays.

You will collaborate with licensed nurses, assist with activities, monitor health needs, and help ensure a safe, respectful living environment. High school diploma and STNA certification preferred; reliable transportation and physical ability required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• STNA certification in Ohio preferred if hired as STNA.
• Experience in an assisted-living facility is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility.
• Good communication with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to residents as delegated by the nurse.

Summary of Position

As a Resident Assistant/STNA (Caregiver), you will provide personal care and assistance to residents, as well as participate in activities and tasks delegated by the nurse.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• Ohio‑state tested certified nursing assistant (STNA) if hired as a STNA
• Experience in an assisted‑living facility preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds independently and over 50 pounds with assistance
• Dexterity to feed, bathe, and perform other caregiving tasks
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach at various angles
• Capable of standing, walking, and sitting intermittently throughout the day
• Adherence to infection‑control procedures
